Manufacturing

Electrical harness and mechanical parts design software Solid-Works from Dassault is at the heart of our design resource. We follow IPC/WHMA-A-620D to produce a general or military standard wire harness for ground based systems or aerial platforms. A laser wire marking machine is utilized to mark and cut each wire required for manufacturing a harness. Wire stripping and twisting is also automatic thereby obviating strand breaking due different twisting force each human has. No soldering is done to secure wires to connectors / sockets, crimping is the way to go at this facility. Harness layout is accomplished through a projection system by Delta Sigma USA. This is the technology used for production of wire harnesses for Joint Strike Fighter F-35 and F-22 aircraft. Strict quality control is implemented before UIT install team is tasked to lay the manufactured wire harnesses onto a platform.

Our in-house electrical Harness Design, manufacturing and installation facilities ensure an edge to the offered product. In addition the in-house mechanical design while manufacturing through PAC Kamra and private sister companies help keep the NRE costs and prototype modification time period unmatchable by the competitors. UIT has access to Pakistan Aeronautical Complex facilities through its representation of Kamra Aviation Industries Limited that is the commercial face of PAC Kamra.
